Dr Akash Patel was born and raised in Gujarat, India. He completed his Bachelor’s of Dental Surgery from RGUHS, Karnataka in 2006 and completed his internship from Government Dental College, Ahmedabad in 2007. He practiced dentistry in Ahmedabad, India for more than 10 years. In 2018 he moved to Calgary, Canada and graduated from Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Alberta with Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

He thoroughly enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry and connecting with patients. He is always keen to upgrade his skills and approaches his patients with a gentle and individualized approach to improve their experience, empowering patients to be actively involved in their treatment and take control of oral health.

Outside dental realms, he enjoys spending time with his family and challenging himself with some DIY projects. He is an avid aquarium hobbyist and enjoys immersing himself in fish-keeping.
